Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Substance use Counselor at Seek Counseling in Brooklyn, NY. The counselor will be responsible for treatment planning, case management, chemical dependency evaluations, relapse prevention strategies, and addressing mental health concerns.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in treatment planning and case management
• Expertise in chemical dependency counseling and relapse prevention
• Knowledge of mental health counseling and co-occurring disorders
• Excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Experience working with diverse populations using a trauma-informed approach
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field
• Required Credentials: LMSW, CASAC, or CASAC-T

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
