Experteer Overview In this Psychiatrist 2 role, you deliver comprehensive psychiatric care within the Article 16 Clinic behavioral team, serving as a medically licensed prescriber and clinical leader. You diagnose, treat, and manage psychiatric care for assigned individuals while guiding other clinicians and supervising programs. You influence treatment plans and ensure integrated care, with after-hours on-call coverage and cross-region collaboration. This position offers meaningful impact in a statewide support program focused on accountable mental health care. Compensation / Benefits • Diagnose, treat, and prescribe psychiatric care for assigned individuals • Provide clinical supervision and guidance to medical personnel and clinicians • Advise residential multi-disciplinary treatment teams on psychiatric plans of care • Oversee psychiatric services for a treatment program, group, or facility/unit • Offer differential diagnoses and specialty input for co-occurring disorders • Support physician coverage across regions as needed • Contribute to after-hours and weekend on-call medical consultations • Ensure integration of psychiatric care with physical health and recovery goals Tasks • License to practice medicine in New York State • Board certification in psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology Key requirements • health insurance options • family dental and vision plans • 13 paid holidays per year • 13 vacation days per year + 5 personal days • 13 paid sick leave days per year • Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) eligibility
