A school district in New Hampshire is seeking a licensed professional to support K-12 students with emotional and behavioral needs within a high school environment. The position is ideal for a licensed Social Worker, Counselor, or School Psychologist who is dedicated to making a positive impact on students facing emotional behavioral disorders (EBD). This role is contracted for the current school year and involves working directly with an approximate caseload of 12 students.

Location:

  • Dover, NH (serving the surrounding community)

Position Details:

  • Part-time role, 20 hours per week spread over 3 days
  • Focus on high school students with emotional behavioral disorders
  • Contract duration: current school year (CSY)
  • Must hold current state licensure; Statements of Eligibility are not accepted

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Valid professional licensure as a Social Worker, Licensed Counselor, or School Psychologist relevant to the state of New Hampshire
  • Experience working with K-12 students, particularly those with emotional and behavioral challenges
  • Ability to manage and support a caseload of approximately 12 students effectively
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with students, families, and educational staff
  • Commitment to fostering a supportive and therapeutic school environment

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological assessments, counseling, and intervention plans tailored to individual student needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop strategies that support students emotional and behavioral growth
