Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. The RBT will play a crucial role in providing direct support to individuals with behavioral health needs, implementing behavior management strategies, and assisting in the development of care plans. This position requires a strong understanding of behavioral therapy principles and the ability to educate clients and their families on effective coping strategies.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the implementation of individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
- Provide direct support to clients by utilizing behavior management techniques to promote positive behaviors.
- Educate clients and their families about behavioral health concepts, coping strategies, and the importance of adherence to care plans.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation and records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
- Monitor client progress and report any changes or concerns to the supervising BCBA.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities related to behavioral therapy practices.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; certification as a Registered Behavior Technician is required.
- One year of experience as an RBT preferred.
- Experience or education in behavioral health, psychology, or a related field is preferred.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and understanding of care plans is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with clients, families, and team members.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding client information in accordance with HIPAA standards.
- Previous experience in assisting with behavioral therapy or similar roles is a plus.
- A compassionate approach towards individuals with diverse needs and backgrounds.

We are seeking an RBT for an in-home client in the Cypress area for approximately 20 hours a week, alternating after school hours Monday through Friday between 1-7pm.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
