Beyond Behavior California is a growing company founded in 2016 with a goal to provide an in-home and community-based programing using the latest research and evidence based practices in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) paired with a highly-skilled treatment team to ensure a quality program for all we serve. We pride ourselves on enhancing the lives of children and adults alike with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other disorders.

Positions available from 10 - 35+ hours per week with hours ranging from 8AM - 6PM and offer flexible hours.

Offering hours towards your BCBA credentials as well as continual trainings, mentoring and team meetings to ensure you have the support and guidance you need to assist you with your professional development and skills.

Team Role:

- In this role you will work one on one with children, teens and/or young adults with ASD and related disorders in their homes, schools/daycare's and their community.

Duties will include:

  • Take data on observed behavior as trained by your Clinical Supervisor and BCBA.
  • Implement high quality ABA programming
  • Implement protocols (e.g. Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP) to help reduce challenging behavior.
  • Work closely with parents and families of assigned clients.
  • Attend trainings on and utilize Applied Behavior Analysis concepts and strategies.
  • Establish yourself as a fun and reinforcing aspect of your client's day. (ABA therapy should be fun and looked forward to!)
  • Work in client homes: Demonstrating ethical and mature behavior, including proper dress code, being punctual, keeping your phone on silent during sessions, communicating promptly with the family, your Clinical Supervisor, BCBA, Administrative staff and the scheduling department.
  • Work remotely when deemed necessary due to Covid-19 policy
  • Communicate client progress to the family, Clinical Supervisors, BCBA's and Executive Director
  • Submitting your timesheets daily no later than 8pm (with a parent signature)
  • Contact Parent, Clinical Supervisor, BCBA, and Scheduling department if you must cancel a session.

Required Skills:

  • Ability to sit and stand as needed throughout sessions
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
  • Transportation to and between clients homes
  • Ability to pass background check
  • High school diploma (or equivalent)
  • Ability to provide immunization records

Desired Skills - NOT REQUIRED:

  • Experience working with children (the following are common examples): Summer Camps, after school programs, babysitting, preschools, elementary schools, educational settings, nanny, tutor, swim instructor, coach or mentor, etc.
  • 6 months - 1 year related experience or field experience in ABA
  • Bilingual is always a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week
