Work Overview
Under the direction of the Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), the Registered Behavior Technician (BT) provides clinical skills instruction and behavior reduction protocols based upon the development of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to children with Autism and related developmental disabilities in the clinic setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Work 1:1 with patients in clinic
- Work with Physical, Occupational, and Speech therapist to assist with behavioral needs
- Consistently implement treatment plans with fidelity (under BCBAs direction) and prepare program materials; treatment protocols that include a wide variety of domains such as toilet training, communication, social and adaptive living skills
- Collect and maintain accurate data and clinical notes utilizing data collection software
- Review and implement consultation/supervision note recommendations
- Participate in ongoing training, evaluations, and meetings as required
- Assist with parent training and clinical assessments, as needed
- Communicate effectively with the BCBA regarding learner’s progress
- Communicate appropriately and effectively with colleagues and families, as needed
- Work ethically and with integrity while following the ethical code of conduct
- Understand and adhere to HIPAA policies

Requirements
- Active RBT certification required
- Previous experience working with individuals with developmental or behavioral needs
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills, both with families and interdisciplinary team members
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and training
