Responsible for individual and group counseling for Residential treatment. Ability to conduct intake and assessments including treatment plans for individuals. Serving the special needs of program participants and individuals. Facilitate groups for participants in a residential treatment program. Activities are designed to support environmental change for individual recovery in a Social Model setting using evidenced-based curriculum (Matrix). Maintain certification of SUD Counseling Status. I and II based on years of experience, State Certification, and ability to perform all essential functions of the job. This is a full time position, specifically Friday - Tuesday 6:00 am - 3:00 pm.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Three years' experience in the drug addictions field. Approved amount of time in continuous sobriety. Alcohol/drug counseling certification REQUIRED. Understanding of mental health and substance use diagnosis.
State Certification, familiar with Medi-CAL & ASAM criteria and EHR (Electronic Health Records) via AVATAR & Anasazi
NOTE: Employees will be required to be fingerprinted, screened for tuberculosis, Screened by the department of Justice, and health screened for fitness for duty.
