As a Behavior Interventionist with IABA, you’ll have the opportunity to make a meaningful, lasting impact in the lives of children and adolescents with developmental disabilities, including Autism. You’ll work directly with clients and families to implement individualized treatment plans, support skill development, and help each client reach their fullest potential.
Using the evidence-based principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), you’ll provide one-on-one support in the home, school, and community. IABA proudly uses positive-only methods to encourage desired behaviors while strengthening play, self-care, cognitive, social, and communication skills.

POSITION DETAILS
Wage Range: $20–$28 per hour
Location: Greater Los Angeles Area
(Open cases in Downtown LA, Hollywood, Santa Monica, Culver City, Inglewood, South LA, Huntington Park, and surrounding areas)
Schedule Options
Full-Time: 30+ hours per week
- Recommended: Monday–Friday 8:00am–6:30pm + ½ weekend day
- Minimum: Monday–Friday 8:00am–3:00pm
Part-Time Options:
- Monday / Wednesday / Friday: 8:00am–3:00pm
or
- Tuesday / Thursday: 8:00am–3:00pm
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct one-on-one ABA therapy sessions in homes and schools
- Support clients with academic and daily living activities
- Teach adaptive play, self-care, cognitive, social, and communication skills
- Encourage positive behaviors through reinforcement strategies
- Collect and analyze data to monitor progress and outcomes
- Maintain a safe, supportive, and engaging environment
- Advocate for individuals with disabilities across settings
- Uphold the highest ethical and professional standards
REQUIREMENTS
- U.S. work authorization
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
- Negative TB test results
- Reliable computer and daily internet access
- Reliable transportation, valid CA driver’s license, and proof of auto insurance
- Willingness to travel throughout the LA area
- Genuine enthusiasm for working with children and adolescents
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to have fun and be playful
- Commitment to IABA’s positive-only methods and mission
- Strong reliability and consistency in attendance
- Physical ability to lift up to 45 lbs and engage in active play (running, bending, squatting, kneeling, floor play, etc.)
- Willingness to work with clients ages 2–23, across all behavior and support needs (including hygiene, feeding, and mobility support)
