A full-time, contract opportunity is available for a Licensed Texas School Psychologist (LSSP/PSYCH) to provide comprehensive psychological services in a K-12 school setting in Cypress, TX. This onsite role involves working within Central Houston campuses and requires a valid, active Texas LSSP/PSYCH license.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and assessments for K-12 students.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop behavior support plans.
- Provide consultation on student development, learning challenges, and behavioral interventions.
- Support compliance with special education regulations and assist with individualized education program (IEP) planning.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and maintain current knowledge of school psychology best practices.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Possession of a valid and active Texas LSSP or Psychologist license is mandatory.
- Previous school-based experience, preferably with exposure to students with Autism Spectrum Disorders and behavioral challenges.
- Demonstrated ability to handle full-time hours (37.5 hrs/week) with no part-time options.
- Commitment to completing required fingerprinting clearances promptly.
