Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in applied behavior analysis and a passion for working with children and individuals with developmental disabilities. This role involves conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing support to clients and their families to enhance their quality of life.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations and assessments to determine individual needs.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans based on applied behavior analysis principles.
- Collect and analyze data to track client progress and adjust interventions as necessary.
- Provide direct behavioral therapy to children and individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities.
- Collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals to ensure a cohesive approach to patient care.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation, including medical records and patient assessments, in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Provide training and support to staff members on behavioral health strategies and interventions.
- Participate in intake processes for new clients, ensuring thorough understanding of their unique needs.
Requirements
- Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is required.
- Experience working with children, particularly those with autism or developmental disabilities.
- Strong knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques and applied behavior analysis methodologies.
- Proficiency in data collection methods and the ability to analyze data effectively.
- Familiarity with special education practices and working with individuals with disabilities.
- Understanding of medical terminology related to patient care and behavioral health.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with clients, families, and team members.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
