Board Certified Music Therapist

Job Description:

We are seeking a Board Certified Music Therapist to join our team in New York City. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing music therapy services to individuals with developmental disabilities, mental health disorders, and other special needs.

Responsibilities:

• Assess clients' needs and develop individualized music therapy treatment plans
• Implement music therapy interventions to address clients' emotional, cognitive, and physical goals
• Document client progress and maintain accurate records
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to provide comprehensive care
• Participate in team meetings and case conferences

Requirements:

• Board Certification in Music Therapy
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Music Therapy
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and mental health disorders
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
