Behavior Technician (ABA) – Part-Time in Yonkers, NY

About the Role
TRAC Activities is seeking ABA Therapists (Paraprofessionals, RBTs, or Behavior Technicians) to join our team. This is a part-time, in-person role based in Yonkers, NY, providing 1:1 support to individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism. Under the supervision of a BCBA, you will implement behavior support plans rooted in the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Your work will help clients build meaningful skills, increase independence, and make steady progress toward their goals.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized ABA treatment plans developed by a supervising BCBA
• Collect and analyze data on client behavior and progress to inform treatment adjustments
• Maintain accurate session notes and client documentation in compliance with confidentiality and regulatory standards
• Collaborate with families, caregivers, and professionals to support comprehensive care
• Support clients in developing daily living, communication, and social skills
• Educate clients and their families about the principles of ABA and strategies for continued progress outside of therapy sessions
• Uphold client confidentiality and professional standards at all times

Qualifications

• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification preferred, or willingness to obtain
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities (autism experience strongly preferred)
• Proficiency in data collection and analysis related to behavioral interventions
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with families and team members
• Reliability, professionalism, and commitment to evidence-based care
• High school diploma required; college coursework in psychology, education, or related field preferred
