Position Summary:
The Admissions/Intake Coordinator plays a critical role in converting inquiries into admissions by managing incoming calls, completing pre-assessments, and ensuring smooth communication with referral sources. This individual must thrive in a fast-paced environment, juggle multiple priorities with efficiency, and possess strong sales instincts to keep clients and referrals engaged and moving toward admission.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Respond promptly and professionally to all incoming calls related to admissions and referrals.

  • Conduct phone screens and pre-assessments to evaluate eligibility and readiness for services.

  • Clearly communicate program parameters, expectations, and benefits to clients and referral sources.

  • Act as a liaison between leads and clinical scheduling staff to ensure assessments and admissions are completed quickly and efficiently.

  • Demonstrate the ability to multi-task and manage multiple leads and conversations simultaneously without losing momentum.

  • Collaborate closely with the Business Development team to ensure leads are followed up promptly and effectively.

  • Work in partnership with the Clinical team to align placement decisions and ensure smooth onboarding of clients.

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all referral and intake activity.

  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

  • Prior experience in healthcare admissions, intake coordination, or referral management is strongly preferred.
