The role is a contract position spanning the school year (NSY), offering flexibility with 20 to 40 hours per week across 3 to 5 weekdays. Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current Ohio School Psychologist Certification required
  • Experience working with K-12 students
  • Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 15-24 renewals and 10 initials
  • Strong assessment, counseling, and intervention skills tailored to diverse student needs
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with educators, families, and administrators

Location:

  • Akron, Ohio

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to identify student needs
  • Develop and implement individualized intervention plans
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student success
  • Monitor progress and adjust plans as necessary
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with state and school policies
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to educational planning
