Licensed Social Worker/Therapist

Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our mental health and behavioral health team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive patient care through clinical counseling, assessment, and case management, supporting individuals across diverse populations including geriatrics and those facing aging issues. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in patients' lives by delivering evidence-based therapies within a supportive and collaborative environment. Minimum 10 hours per week. Duties

• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including diagnostic evaluations and intake interviews to determine mental health needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans utilizing behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, Christian counseling, or other appropriate modalities.
• Provide individual and group therapy sessions focused on mental health counseling, behavioral health, aging issues, geriatrics, and community care.
• Utilize applied behavior analysis techniques and other evidence-based practices to support behavioral change.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation, including detailed notes on patient progress and treatment outcomes, in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Manage medical records with confidentiality and ensure proper documentation of clinical activities.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals and case management teams to coordinate patient care effectively.
• Educate patients and families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and coping strategies.
• Conduct social work functions such as home visits or community outreach as needed to support patient well-being.
• Ensure compliance with all legal and ethical standards related to social work practice and patient privacy.

Requirements

• Valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• Proven experience in behavioral therapy, applied behavior analysis, clinical counseling, or related fields.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, medical documentation standards, and HIPAA regulations.
• Experience with patient care, assessment, intake procedures, diagnostic evaluation, case management, and record keeping.
• Familiarity with social work practices within behavioral health settings, including individual/group counseling and community-based care.
• Background in working with diverse populations such as geriatrics or those facing aging issues; experience in Christian counseling is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients from various backgrounds.
• Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially while maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Prior experience working within home & community care environments is advantageous but not mandatory. Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $50.00 - $60.00 per hour
