School Psychologist - Concord, CA

Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A K-12 school in Concord, CA is seeking a dedicated School Psychologist to provide essential psychological services for the current school year on a contract basis. This opportunity offers a chance to support a diverse student population in grades K-5 with a caseload ranging from 30 to 45 students.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychological evaluations to assess student needs
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs), and support Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) initiatives
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to address student academic and behavioral challenges
• Provide direct counseling and consultation to students and staff
• Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with school policies and state regulations

Qualifications:

• Current certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
• Experience working in a K-12 educational setting
• Ability to manage a caseload effectively and carry out comprehensive evaluations
• Strong knowledge of MTSS frameworks and special education law
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working collaboratively with school personnel and families
