A K-12 school in Concord, CA is seeking a dedicated School Psychologist to join their team on a contract basis for the current school year. This position offers an opportunity to work with a dynamic student population from Kindergarten through 5th grade, providing crucial psychological services to support academic and social-emotional development.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Create and monitor Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
- Participate in Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) processes
- Manage a caseload of approximately 30-45 students
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families
- Provide support within one school building
Qualifications:
- Valid School Psychologist credential or license
- Experience working with K-5 students in an educational setting
- Knowledge of IEP, BIP, and MTSS processes
- Strong assessment and data analysis skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Ability to manage a caseload efficiently
