We’re looking for a Community Liaison Director who loves being out in the community, building relationships, and talking with families about senior living options, private pay, and SSI in a clear, honest way. What You’ll Do
As the Community Liaison Director for Chatsworth Commons Senior Living, you’ll be the external face of the community in the Chatsworth / San Fernando Valley / greater Los Angeles area.
You will:
- Build and maintain referral relationships with hospitals, case managers, skilled nursing facilities, senior centers, social workers, and physician offices
- Educate families and professionals about independent living and assisted living options, including services, amenities, and what makes Chatsworth Commons different
- Clearly explain private pay pricing, SSI, and basic funding options so families feel supported, not overwhelmed
- Represent Chatsworth Commons at community events, health fairs, networking groups, and professional meetings
- Host and lead presentations on aging, senior care options, and local resources for seniors and their families
- Work closely with our sales and leadership team to align outreach efforts with occupancy and growth goals
- Track leads, contacts, and activities in our systems so we can see what’s working and where to focus
This is a relationship and field-based role—perfect for someone who enjoys being on the move, meeting new people, and building a strong local network around senior living.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in community outreach, healthcare marketing, senior living, social services, or case management
- Comfort speaking about senior living, private pay, SSI, and basic financial options with families and professionals
- Strong communication skills—confident with one-on-one family talks and small-group presentations
- A natural relationship-builder who follows through, keeps notes, and stays organized
- Someone who enjoys working independently but also partners well with the sales, clinical, and leadership teams
- Passion for improving the lives of older adults and their families
Preferred but not required:
- Bachelor’s degree in social work, public health, communications, marketing, or a related field
- Previous experience with senior living referrals, hospital discharge planners, or senior-focused nonprofits
