School-Based Behavior Technician - Glendale, Burbank, Pasadena
Pay Rate: $20–$25/hour, based on experience
Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday during school hours
Amergis Healthcare Staffing, a trusted leader in educational and behavioral health staffing, is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavioral Technician to support adolescents in the school setting. Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide consistent behavioral support
- Implement behavior management strategies as outlined by clinical supervisors
- Assist in developing and executing individualized treatment and behavior plans
- Document behavioral progress and interventions accurately and consistently
- Provide crisis intervention and apply de-escalation strategies as needed
- Foster a safe, structured, and supportive environment for all youth
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 6 months’ experience working with individuals facing behavioral challenges, preferably in a juvenile justice or school-based setting
- Understanding of behavioral intervention strategies and trauma-informed care
- Excellent communication, patience, and resilience
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
