School-Based Behavior Technician - Glendale, Burbank, Pasadena

Pay Rate: $20–$25/hour, based on experience

Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday during school hours

Amergis Healthcare Staffing, a trusted leader in educational and behavioral health staffing, is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavioral Technician to support adolescents in the school setting. This is an incredible opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of at-risk youth by helping shape their behavioral growth and academic success.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide consistent behavioral support
Implement behavior management strategies as outlined by clinical supervisors
Assist in developing and executing individualized treatment and behavior plans
Document behavioral progress and interventions accurately and consistently
Provide crisis intervention and apply de-escalation strategies as needed
Foster a safe, structured, and supportive environment for all youth

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 6 months’ experience working with individuals facing behavioral challenges, preferably in a juvenile justice or school-based setting
Understanding of behavioral intervention strategies and trauma-informed care
Excellent communication, patience, and resilience
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
