Board Certified Behavior Analyst

Position: Board Certified Behavioral Analyst (Independent Contractor – Self-Determination Program)
Location: San Jose, CA
Compensation: DOE or Vendor Rate
Schedule: Part-time, flexible hours — immediate start

About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated, experienced BCBA to work independently (not through an agency) with a teen with a dual diagnosis who requires consistent behavioral and emotional support. This position is funded through the California Regional Center Self-Determination Program (SDP).

The ideal candidate is compassionate, dependable, and comfortable working in a home and community setting to support the teen’s growth, communication, independence, and social skills.

Responsibilities:

• Provide supervision of direct ABA-based intervention and behavioral support
• Develop and implement individualized strategies based on the client’s goals
• Collaborate with the family and staff to track progress
• Train and guide support staff to maintain consistency in behavioral strategies
• Use strength-based approaches
• Maintain clear session notes and data collection as required

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of experience providing ABA or behavioral support
• Proven experience working with individuals with dual diagnosis
• Experience training or supervising direct support staff
• Must be comfortable working independently (no agency oversight)
• Familiarity with the Self-Determination Program (preferred but not required)
• Current CPR/First Aid certification (preferred)
• Reliable transportation
