We are looking for an experienced psychologist to provide consultation and evaluation services in an outpatient setting to patients who need mental health services as a result of a work injury. In this role, you will provide psychotherapy for individuals and groups while utilizing a wide range of intervention modalities that support positive mental health & enhanced individual functioning. As a member of a multi-disciplinary team, you will also work closely with Primary Treating Physicians supporting a Functional Restoration Program (FRP). This position will be working from our office in Sacramento.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide psychological services such as standardized depression screening, cognitive and behavioral therapies, skills training, supportive therapy and stress management.
• Provide mental health care to patients before, during or after FRP.
• Serve as a guest lecturer to educate patients on mental health topics including psychological strategies for chronic pain management and mood management.

Requirements:

• Current California Licensure
• Doctoral degree in Psychology from an American Psychological Association (APA) approved program in clinical psychology
• Experience in workers compensation and/or chronic pain management or fellowship training a plus
• Bilingual in Spanish a plus
