Per Ankh Life Skills, Inc. (PALS, Inc.) has offices in Los Angeles, Ventura and Santa Barbara counties and is a trauma-informed, adult day program and residential service provider for persons with a primary diagnosis of a developmental and with a history of behavioral deficits and excesses. PALS is dedicated to supporting adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We focus on independence, wellness, and community engagement in a safe, supportive environment.

Position
We are seeking a Licensed Clinical Psychologist in the Santa Paula-Simi Valley area to provide psychological evaluations, individual service plan review, and behavioral support to adults with developmental disabilities, trauma histories, and co-occurring conditions. This is a non supervisory role which will work closely with the Program Directors of our Santa Paula and Simi Valley programs to ensure effective service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychological and neuropsychological evaluations
• Provide individual and group therapy where needed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team (staff, nurses, behavior analysts, families)
• Develop support plans and provide timely reports
• Train staff in trauma-informed and behavioral strategies
• Contribute to program evaluation and wellness initiatives

Qualifications

• PhD or PsyD in Clinical or Counseling Psychology (APA-accredited)
• California license as a Clinical Psychologist (required)
• Experience with adults with developmental disabilities and trauma
• Strong skills in assessment, therapy, and interdisciplinary collaboration
