We are exclusively targeting BCBAs who can reliably commit to the after-school and early evening window (2:00 PM - 8:00 PM).

If you are a BCBA seeking to supplement an existing caseload, private practice, or academic schedule—without sacrificing your clinical standards—this model is for you.

At 2020 Behavior, we are a practice founded by BCBAs who were done with the high-volume, low-quality service model. We exist to maintain conceptual integrity in our field. We are looking for experienced, ethical practitioners to join our team part-time.

The Part-Time Clinical Unit

  • The Schedule Constraint: Our clients require service during the high-demand after-school window. If you cannot reliably commit to blocks of time between 2:00 PM and 8:00 PM, please do not apply. This is a non-negotiable SD.
  • The Caseload: As the sole interventionist, you will take on an average of 1 focused client.
  • This ensures the depth of your intervention is prioritized over breadth, allowing for robust implementation of your BIP and effective progress toward terminal objectives.
  • We maintain procedural fidelity by minimizing the number of providers.
  • The Rate: You earn $77/hour for all your time. This is a unified rate for direct service, indirect tasks, and caregiver collaboration.
  • Late Cancellations are Paid. We remove the punishment contingency of a canceled session; you are paid your full rate.
  • Admin & Ethics: Your administrative load will be nearly non-existent (up to 1 hour per week, if any). We handle the billing and paperwork; you handle the data-based decision-making.
  • Zero Weekends.

Sustained Professional Growth (The BCBA Benefits)

Though part-time, your professional development is a contingency of the job:

  • Coaching & Peer Review: Access to our subsidized 1:1 monthly clinical coaching sessions. We all benefit from collaborative peer review regardless of credentialing date.
  • Skill Expansion: We provide stipends and support for specialized methodologies (e.g., certification in PFA/SBT, ACT). Join our Journal Club and internal research projects.
  • Expert Access: Attend our Speaker Series with experts like Dr. Hanley, Dr. LeBlanc, and Dr. Bailey, to name a few!
  • Resources Covered: Stipends for materials, professional development, and even your data collection devices are provided. We also pay above-average rates for mileage and drive time.

Part-Time Sample Schedule (After-School Focus)

A typical part-time schedule for Client A might look like this:

  • Direct Therapy: M-F from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM (15 hours of direct service/week).
  • Indirect Time: Approximately 1 hour per week.
  • Caregiver Training: Approximately 1 hour per month (minimum).

Final Mand

If you are a serious BCBA who wants to work the high-value evening window and maintain high clinical standards with zero administrative drag, this is your opportunity.

We serve clients across the Bay Area (within a 20-mile radius of your home address). You must be prepared for necessary travel.

Apply only if you can meet the after-school availability requirement.
