We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPC-A) to join our growing team as an independent contractor (1099) in the State of Texas. This position offers flexibility to provide in-person, virtual, or hybrid counseling services, depending on your preference and client needs.

This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career professional looking to gain supervised clinical experience, serve diverse populations, and grow under the guidance of an experienced LPC Supervisor.

Responsibilities

  • Provide individual and/or group therapy sessions for clients experiencing a range of mental health conditions.
  • Conduct sessions in-person, virtually, or a combination of both as appropriate.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans tailored to each client’s goals.
  • Maintain accurate, ethical, and confidential documentation in compliance with Texas LPC Board and HIPAA standards.
  • Collaborate with supervisors and multidisciplinary professionals to ensure high-quality, client-centered care.
  • Participate in required supervision, clinical meetings, and professional development activities.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Active LPC-A license issued by the Texas State Board of Examiners of Professional Counselors.
  • Must work under supervision of a board-approved LPC-Supervisor.
  • Familiarity with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), trauma-informed practices, and/or addiction counseling preferred.
  • Experience with pediatrics, PTSD, autism, or special education populations is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Comfortable working both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
