Position Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) to join our Community Stabilization team. The QMHP will provide short-term, intensive support to individuals experiencing mental health crises in the community. This role is vital in helping clients achieve emotional stability, develop coping strategies, and successfully transition to long-term services.

Key Responsibilities
Conduct initial assessments and develop individualized stabilization plans.
- Provide crisis intervention, counseling, and skill-building services to clients in the community. Collaborate with case managers, peer support specialists, and other providers to ensure coordinated care. Monitor clients’ progress, document services, and adjust treatment plans as needed. Link clients to community resources, outpatient therapy, housing, and other support services. Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation in compliance with Medicaid and agency standards. Participate in team meetings, trainings, and case reviews.
- Must meet Virginia DMAS qualifications as a QMHP-A
Experience with Community Stabilization or Crisis Services.
- Familiarity with Medicaid documentation and billing requirements.
- Trauma-informed care and de-escalation training.
