Clinical Supervisor (Licensed Clinicial Social Worker - LCSW)

As a Clinical Supervisor, you will mentor and guide Associate Clinicians as they work toward licensure, fostering professional growth and compliance with Medi-Cal and Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) standards.

Clinical Supervisor Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical supervision to 6-7 Associate Clinicians, trainees, and interns, to support their development and progress towards licensure.
  • Document and tracks all required supervision hours and requirements in accordance with government board and licensing requirements.
  • Oversee clinical documentation and ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with Medi-Cal, BBS, and agency standards.
  • Monitor supervisee’s caseloads to ensure ethical, effective, and high-quality service delivery.
  • Offer clinical consultation, mentorship, and guidance to both licensed and unlicensed staff.
  • Train and support clinical staff in best practices, service models, and compliance requirements at the state and federal levels.
  • Supports program management in achieving goals related to quality improvement, service delivery, and staff development.

Clinical Supervisor Minimum Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) and current California Licensure (LCSW) required.
  • Minimum of two (2) years post-licensure experience.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of clinical supervision or directly related experience supervising clinical staff.
  • Strong understanding of Board of Behavioral Services (BBS) ethical standards and Medi-Cal regulations.
  • Working knowledge of Medi-Cal documentation and related regulations, with the ability to train for and monitor compliance.
  • Ability to proficiently interpret clinical reports preparing written materials and present information effectively in varied situations.
  • Skilled in mentoring, leadership and staff development.

Clinical Supervisor Additional Qualifications:

  • Understanding and demonstration of agency Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives.
  • Computer literate with Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, Word, and database skills.
  • Knowledge of evidence-based practices (e.g., CBT, TF-CBT, DBT, ACT, PCIT, FFT) and ability to support staff in implementing these interventions.
  • Ability to define and solve problems, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
  • Bilingual fluency in English and one or more key threshold languages (Arabic, Chinese, Farsi, Korean, Spanish, or Vietnamese).

Salary: Salary pay rate from $98,602.00 to $103,532.10. The actual salary may vary based on experience, equity, market, and Agency considerations.
