Job Summary: The Crisis Specialist QMHP is responsible for ensuring the provision of recovery-focused, person-centered care with a trauma-informed perspective. This position operates in a dynamic environment, and performs case management, assessment, and/or service coordination work based on the program's guidelines. The QMHP's duties may include and are not limited to providing continuity of care services, linking consumers and families to all needed resources, and coordinating, monitoring, and updating services and consumer goals. Providing necessary skills training, assisting in crisis prevention, and/or providing community outreach are additional roles. As a team member of programs in crisis services, the QMHP coordinates crisis intervention tools to address client's needs utilizing assessment, multidisciplinary coordination, and efficient clinically appropriate utilization of agency resources. Duties include collaboration with consumers, first responders, and community stakeholders to address immediate mental health crisis and plan for future crisis relapse prevention.
This position follows identified strategies for achievement of unit performance measures and ensures the highest quality of care while effectively utilizing resources. This position may carry an individual caseload.
On-call responsibilities may be required dependent upon unit protocols. Crisis positions include a 10% crisis stipend and shift differential as applicable.
Regular, predictable attendance is considered to be an essential requirement for this position. Other duties may be assigned. May require a flexible work schedule.

- Graduated from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree with a major specialization in Human/Behavioral/Social Services or related field.
Required:
- Current and valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

Salary: $24.18 - $25.39 an hour based on education plus an additional 10% crisis stipend.
Position may be eligible for an additional shift differential pay.
- Second Shift: $3.25/hour.
- Third Shift: $7.25/hour.
- Weekend Shift: $8.00/hour.
