CRITICAL CARE TRANSPORT CCT COORDINATOR

Job Description

Qualifications:

1. minimum of one year experience in ambulance CCT/SCT Transports

2. current practice in emergency medicine, critical care nursing or specialty

care transports (minimum of 96 working hours annually)

Licenses/Certifications:

1. Currently licensed in the State of California as an RN (Registered Nurse)

2. BLS Healthcare Provider, ACLS and PALS Certifications

Duties:

1. Sign and approve, in advance, all policies and procedures to be followed

for SCTs.

2. Maintain documentation indicating that all CCT/SCT personnel have been

oriented to the RN/RCP-staffed CCT/SCT program.

3. Maintain documentation of all applicable licensure, certification and/or

accreditation requirements for all CCT/SCT personnel.

4. Be familiar with EMTALA and HIPAA.

5 Ensure the development, implementation and ongoing evaluation of a QI

program in collaboration with the Transport Medical Director.

6. Attend the Los Angeles County EMS Agency Orientation Program within

six months of employment as Transport Coordinator.

Pay Salary Contract

Location Headquarters Granada Hills, CA

Pay: From $60.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
