The mission of the USC Rossier School of Education is to prepare leaders to achieve educational equity through practice, research and policy. The Marriage and Family Therapy program seeks an instructor for Psychotherapy with Children and Adolescents. This course explores the psychological, social, and cultural dimensions of childhood, with a focus on direct practice with children and their families in urban settings. Evidence-based interventions for this population are demonstrated and practiced.
Adjunct Faculty: USC reserves the “Adjunct Faculty” appointment for faculty teaching less than full-time at USC, who are employed full-time in a primary profession or career elsewhere. Adjunct faculty may teach one class each semester (summer, fall and spring).
The base salary range for this position is $7,280- $9,360 per course. When extending an offer of employment, the University of Southern California considers factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, federal, state, and local laws, contractual stipulations, grant funding, as well as external market and organizational considerations.
