Job Description
We are seeking a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to provide psychiatric evaluation and medication management services. This is a role designed for a motivated, self-directed NP who values autonomy and wants to grow their panel gradually to their desired level. You’ll work primarily via telehealth, with occasional in-person days at our Fort Collins office for prescribing controlled substances.

We handle initial scheduling, advertising, billing, credentialing, and more.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and medication management for patients via telehealth (and occasional in-person sessions for prescribing controlled substances).
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EHR.
- Code sessions accurately.
- Respond to patient and internal emails in a timely manner.
- Participate in limited administrative and collaborative tasks as assigned.
- Maintain compliance with all applicable legal and ethical standards.
Ideal Candidate
- Experienced PMHNP comfortable working independently within a collaborative group practice setting.
- Skilled at coding and documenting sessions accurately.
- Organized, self-motivated, and clinically sound.
- Interest in providing psychotherapy along with medication management.
- Passionate about delivering thoughtful, holistic, patient-centered care.
Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted Colorado RN and APRN licenses in good standing.
- National certification as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) through the ANCC.
- Full prescriptive authority (RXN) issued by the Colorado Board of Nursing
- DEA registration (or eligibility) for prescribing controlled substances.
- Colorado Controlled Substances Registration (CSR) through DORA.
- Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) and CPT/ICD-10 coding for psychiatric medication management and psychotherapy sessions.
Schedule
- Fully flexible — you set your own patient hours and caseload goals.
- Build your caseload to your desired level
- Option for part-time or full-time.
- Primarily telehealth, with an office in Fort Collins for in-person sessions.
Compensation & Benefits
- 60% of collected revenue with a $20/hour advance for each clinical hour worked.

Base Pay: $100.00 - $225.00 per hour
