A full-time School Psychologist position is available for the current school year at an Early Childhood School in Huntington, IN. This contract role focuses on supporting preschool-aged children through comprehensive psychological services designed to enhance educational outcomes within the district.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting evaluations, with 14 open evaluations currently requiring completion
- Assisting with numerous re-evaluations across the district (approximately 417 total), helping to manage workload and ensure timely assessments
- Collaborating with educational diagnosticians who handle specialized diagnostic evaluations, allowing you to focus on psychological assessments and support
- Providing consultative and intervention services to students, families, and educational staff within the preschool setting
Desired qualifications and experience:
- Valid certification and training as a School Psychologist
- Experience working with early childhood populations is highly preferred
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple evaluations and re-evaluations efficiently
- Strong collaborative skills to work with multidisciplinary teams including educational diagnosticians
