School Psychologist in Huntington, IN

Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time School Psychologist position is available for the current school year at an Early Childhood School in Huntington, IN. This contract role focuses on supporting preschool-aged children through comprehensive psychological services designed to enhance educational outcomes within the district.

Key responsibilities include:

• Conducting evaluations, with 14 open evaluations currently requiring completion
• Assisting with numerous re-evaluations across the district (approximately 417 total), helping to manage workload and ensure timely assessments
• Collaborating with educational diagnosticians who handle specialized diagnostic evaluations, allowing you to focus on psychological assessments and support
• Providing consultative and intervention services to students, families, and educational staff within the preschool setting

Desired qualifications and experience:

• Valid certification and training as a School Psychologist
• Experience working with early childhood populations is highly preferred
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple evaluations and re-evaluations efficiently
• Strong collaborative skills to work with multidisciplinary teams including educational diagnosticians
