EMIT Learning is seeking an experienced School Psychologist to work on our school campus in Glendale, AZ, for the upcoming 2025-26 school year.

Job Description for School Psychologist

  • No. of positions: 3
  • School Psychologist needed in Glendale, AZ.
  • Age Group: All
  • Start: August 2025
  • End date: June 2026 (Possible extension)
  • Total hours: 35 - 40 hours per week (will include 30-minute unpaid lunch)
  • Required License/Certification: Valid School Psychologist certification

Duties

  • Conduct psychological assessments and diagnostic evaluations to identify student needs and inform individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Provide individual and group counseling sessions focused on social-emotional development, behavioral health, and coping strategies.
  • Provide crisis intervention and conflict management to support students experiencing emotional or behavioral challenges.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development related to school psychology, special education, medical terminology, and psychological testing.

Skills

  • Strong background in child & family counseling, crisis intervention, and behavioral health.
  • Experience conducting psychological testing, diagnostic evaluation, and patient assessment for children with developmental disabilities or autism.
  • Proficiency in working with children requiring special education services, including IEP development and implementation.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $55.00 - $65.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
