APTS® is searching for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst for our Outreach Team . Monday through Friday Community based in Loudoun County VA. Hours may vary.

Position Duties:
- Conducts intake/assessment using formal, quantitative/qualitative screening tools and methods from various direct/indirect information sources (to include assembling/organizing/reviewing historical records/documentation, interviews with relevant family members/care providers/professionals, written /phone/e-mail/face-to-face communication, and direct observation)
- Summarize and analyze data (to include review and interpretation of information gathered to identify patterns/trends and provide a rationale for the design of appropriate interventions/strategies)
- Designs individualized behavior plans to address identified areas of need (to include measurable outcome goals and objectives and data collection instruments to evaluate plan effectiveness)
- Trains relevant family members/care providers/professionals in the implementation of behavior plans
- With supervisory input, makes decisions with consideration of legal implications and the best interest of the individual while ensuring that the dignity, confidentiality, health, and safety of the individual are protected at all times
- Completes initial COBC paperwork, monthly reports, timesheets, and other required documents submitted by their designated deadlines
- Maintains a professional presentation and demeanor at all times
- Professional duties will require the employee to work a flexible work schedule, including evenings and weekends, to complete initial COBC paperwork, monthly reports, timesheets, and other required documents submitted by their designated deadlines
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master’s Degree in Behavior Analysis, Education, Human Services, Psychology, or field related to Behavior Analysis from an accredited college or university preferred; Bachelor’s degree in Behavior Analysis, Education, Human Services, or a field related to Behavior Analysis from an accredited college or university required.
- Certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst/Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst
