ABA Therapist/Behavior Technician/RBT/Paraprofessional

Growth Street ABA is a growing ABA company based in Essex county that provides in-home ABA therapy to children diagnosed with autism, ages 2 to 12. We are hiring experienced behavior technicians to provide high-quality services to our clients through effective interventions, communication and by building positive relationships. Weekly supervision from a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) will allow for frequent oversight and development.

Job Responsibilities:

- Punctuality, professionalism, attention to detail and effective communication

- Effectively and consistently applying ABA principles

- Implementing 1:1 behavioral interventions to children with autism

- Ability to accept ongoing feedback from direct supervisor, Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

- Flexibility and creativity

- Prompt and accurate data collection

- Timely input of session notes, following each session

Requirements:

- Access to reliable transportation

- Must be at least 18 years of age

- Must have, at minimum, High School Diploma/GED

- Successfully pass background check

- Must have, at minimum, 1 year experience working with children with disabilities

- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Scheduling:

- Part-time, in-home position

- Afterschool & possibly weekends

We are looking to immediately staff afterschool cases in Jersey City, Union City, Kearny and Paterson. We are looking to staff morning cases in Cliffside Park and Paterson.

Our organization is growing and we want you to grow with us! We offer free supervision for BCBA and BCaBA candidates as well as free RBT training.
