Supplemental Information
Hourly Range: $20.01 - $25.48/HR ($41,619- $52,998 annually)

Who should apply?
- Must already have a Washington State Certified Peer Certification with HCA.
- Someone with a High School Diploma or equivalent that has experiences associated with individuals of mental health and/or substance use disorder.
- Agency Affiliated Counselor with Department of Health and must be able to meet the new Certified Peer Specialist requirements with Department of Health.
- At least one (1) year of experience working as a peer, preferably in a behavioral health and/or substance use setting.

Some of what you will do:
- Provides client services necessary for the continuity of client care, to include, but not limited to consultation, supervision, referrals, and correspondence.
- Will work with program participant and treatment team staff to develop a treatment/recovery plan based on the individual’s person centered strengths, needs, abilities, and recovery goals.
- Assist clients in working with their case manager or treatment team in determining the steps he/she needs to take in order to achieve these goals and self-directed recovery.
- Contribute to the program's ongoing evaluation of individual in service’s mental illness symptoms and individual in service’s response to treatment. Shares observations and concerns with WISe Team Members for consultation and direction and takes appropriate action.
- Ensure diverse youth and family engagement.
