Assistant Clinical Director (BCBA) – Clinic-Based | Richmond, VA

Full-Time | Total Compensation: $110,000 – $140,000 per year (includes base salary + performance-based bonus potential)

At Autism Center of Excellence (AutismCOE), we provide compassionate, evidence-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy that supports communication, independence, and daily living skills. We are seeking an experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our Richmond, VA clinic as an Assistant Clinical Director—a leadership role designed for clinicians looking to expand their impact through mentorship, team development, and clinical oversight.

What You’ll Do

  • Supervise, mentor, and coach BCBAs, RBTs, and Behavior Technicians
  • Provide caregiver coaching to promote skill generalization and consistency
  • Maintain your own billable utilization while supporting team performance
  • Review and monitor treatment plans, progress notes, and documentation for accuracy and compliance
  • Support onboarding and ongoing staff development through training and coaching
  • Collaborate with clinical leadership on best practices, quality initiatives, and process improvements
  • Promote a culture grounded in compassion, clinical integrity, and collaboration

What We’re Looking For

Required:

  • Active BCBA certification in good standing
  • Master’s degree in ABA, Psychology, Education, or related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a practicing BCBA
  • Demonstrated supervisory or leadership experience in a clinical setting
  • Strong communication, organizational, and team-building skills
  • Commitment to ethical, family-centered care

Preferred:

  • Clinic-based ABA experience
  • Experience coaching junior clinicians and paraprofessionals

Compensation & Benefits

Total Compensation: $110,000 – $140,000 per year
(includes base salary + potential performance-based bonus)
