- Establishes a rapport with youth and families, while maintaining appropriate boundaries.
- Communicates and works with a multi-faceted team of professionals.
- Utilizes and understands cross-system designs.
- Willingness to learn through training, supervision, and day to day experiences.
- Ability to collaborate with school staff and other service providing staff to implement services and programs.
- Participates in activities that will broaden the understanding and knowledge of service systems.
- Up to one year of experience working
- Excellent communication skills - both oral and written.
- Experience working with youth preferred.
- General knowledge of issues facing at-risk youth (i.e., drug/alcohol, gangs, etc.).
- Clearances
- Good driving record – valid driver’s license and car insurance required.
- Proper clearances (State, FBI, and Child Line Clearances – depending on location).
