This position provides a limited number of psychological services, including psychometric evaluation, data collection and analysis and to assist in implementation of some fully specified and prescribed standard therapeutic procedures.

Job Duties and Other Information
Job Duties:
- Selects, administers, scores and interprets psychological tests (with guidance).
- Performs specific tasks in implementing habilitative programs using psychological techniques with designated clients.
- Conducts observations, records data, and performs statistical analyses of data for approved program design and evaluation or for research projects.
- Functions in a limited capacity as a member of an inter-disciplinary team and may carry out counseling or other psychological services as recommended by the interdisciplinary team.
Position-Specific Details:
- Current permanent status classified LA State employees may be required to accept a probational appointment if accepted.
- An employee selected for a promotion may be required to serve a trial detail prior to being permanently promoted.
- This posting may also be used to fill a vacancy as a temporary job appointment. If filled as a temporary job appointment, should a permanent position become available, the employee may be converted to a probational appointment.
Career Progression Group: ASSOCIATE 1, 2, or 3 TO A PSYCHOLOGIST
- Filled at the highest level of experience of the selected applicant.
- Salary depends on level of experience.
