WHAT YOU WILL DO
The Medical Social Worker utilizes social work expertise and clinical knowledge to conduct psychosocial assessments to understand the emotional, social, and practical needs of patients and their families to enhance quality of life. The Social Worker will provide counseling and emotional support to individuals and families facing medical challenges. The Medical Social Worker will act as advocate for patients and their families to ensure their needs are met within the California healthcare system.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Experience:
- Preferable experience in other health and human services fields. Medical experience is highly desirable.
- One (1) year of work experience in a behavioral or healthcare-related setting, preferred.
Education:
- Master's Degree in Social Work from an accredited CSWE institution
License/Certifications:
- MSW required. LCSW preferred. ASW (CA) recommended. Licensure/LMSW required in states with licensure CA.
Requirements: The compensation for the role will depend on several factors, including the candidate's qualifications, work experience, competencies, and skills, and may fall outside of the range shown.
Pay: $80-$100 per hour
