IMMEDIATE CAREER OPPORTUNITY for a Mental Health Clinician that has experience with Substance Awareness Counseling
Cornerstone Day School seeks a full-time, compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW/LCADC). The right candidate have experience in substance use counseling. They will help foster a positive school environment and provide intensive counseling services to middle and high school students.
The Licensed Clinician will play a critical role in addressing the mental health and substance awareness needs of students within a school setting. This position involves providing clinical support, counseling services, and crisis intervention to students and their families while collaborating with educators, the school's leadership team, and other mental health counselors.
Key responsibilities include:
- Provide individual and group counseling to students experiencing social and emotional challenges.
- Deliver individual and group counseling focused on substance awareness.
- Conduct assessments to identify students' needs and develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Collaborate with teachers and school staff to enhance student learning and well-being.
- Facilitate support groups for students and parents.
- Act as a liaison between the school, families, and community resources.
- Participate in school meetings and committees and professional development to promote a positive and inclusive school culture.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of student interactions following clinical and school policies and ethical guidelines.

The work schedule reflects the school calendar, a reduced summer schedule, and one early evening per week to provide family sessions.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year

License/Certification:
- NJ Certified Alcohol and Drug Counseling License(LCADC) (Required)
