Mental Health Clinical Social Worker

Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated ASW or LCSW to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in social work and be committed to providing psychotherapy to individuals and families in need. This role involves working closely with clients providing supportive psychotherapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, develop treatment plans. Social worker will be working closely with psychiatrist, psychiatric nurse practitioner and Licensed Clinical Social worker at the same facility. Associate Social Workers are encouraged to apply as well.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments to identify clients' needs and develop appropriate treatment plans.
• Provide individual therapy sessions, utilizing techniques such as behavioral therapy and psychotherapy.
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes in accordance with ICD-10 standards.
• Advocate for clients' rights and connect them with community resources.
• Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure effective care.
• Provide crisis intervention when needed, ensuring the safety and well-being of clients.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.
• Valid state licensure or certification as a Social Worker.
• Strong understanding of behavioral therapy systems and techniques.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with clients.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and record keeping.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
