Licensed Clinical Social Work or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LCSW/LMFT)

Job Title: LCSW/LMFT

Location: Los Altos, CA

Shift: Full-Time | Mon-Fri

Compensation: $70-$80/hour

Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency is looking for LCSWs or LMFTs for a Psychiatric Mental Illness Outpatient Clinic in Los Altos, CA. In this temp to perm role, you will be responsible for providing personalized, compassionate, and high-quality SMI care.

Qualifications of a Mental Health Therapist:

· Current California LCSW or LMFT License

· 1 year of experience working with patients with severe mental illness

· Evidence-based intervention experience including CBT, DBT, MI

· Strong listening and communication skills

· Ability to navigate challenging situations with professionalism

· Thorough understanding of confidentiality and appropriate documentation standards

Duties/Responsibilities of a Mental Health Therapist:

· Provide individual and group therapy to a panel of complex SMI patients

· Provide continuous, regular support as patients navigate recovery, both in

person and on occasion, virtually

· Deliver evidence-based care in a holistic, wrap-around care model

· Collaborate with patient care teams and with behavioral health providers to

ensure an integrated, cohesive approach to care

· Address medical needs to mitigate negative impacts of various social

determinants of health

· Provide consultation to therapists on the treatment team, which may include

licensed therapists as well as trainees, as well as assisting with program development.
