Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) – Correctional Facility | Corcoran, CA | Part-Time/Full-Time
Schedule: Part-Time or Full-Time | Available 2–3 days per week
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to provide high-quality mental health services in a correctional facility located in Corcoran, California. The ideal candidate is skilled in clinical assessment, counseling, and case management, and is committed to supporting the mental well-being of patients in a secure healthcare setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments, including substance abuse and psychological history.
- Perform suicide risk evaluations and respond promptly to patient crises.
- Provide individual and group psychotherapy sessions.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and monitor patient progress.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with HIPAA.
- Conduct mental status examinations and collaborate on complex clinical cases.
- Assist patients with benefits applications and community resource referrals.
- Support transitions of care and facilitate discharge planning.
- Participate in audits, quality improvement initiatives, and data reporting as required.
- Uphold professional ethics, confidentiality standards, and facility protocols.
Requirements
- Active California LCSW License.
- BLS Certification (American Heart Association preferred).
- Prior experience in correctional, clinical, or behavioral health settings preferred.
- Strong counseling, documentation, and crisis management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
