Position Overview

We are hiring two Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners to join a team in Geneva and Norwich, NY. These part-time roles are integral to the delivery of psychiatric care to youth and families, with responsibilities in psychopharmacology, clinical assessments, treatment planning, and staff training.

This is a great opportunity for clinicians who are passionate about working in a multidisciplinary setting and want to contribute meaningfully to mental health services in their community.

Employment Type: Direct Hire (Permanent)
Schedule Flexibility
Part-Time: 20 hours/week
Ideal Schedule: 4 days/week, 5-hour shifts
Must be available for 1-hour team meetings 3–4 days/week

Locations:
Geneva, NY (Ontario County)
Norwich, NY (Chenango County)

Compensation:
Hourly Rate: $90–$95/hour
Annualized Salary Estimate: $187,200 – $197,600 (Based on hourly rate and typical full-time schedule)

Key Responsibilities
Conduct psychiatric assessments, evaluations, and medication management
Provide psychopharmacological treatment and ongoing care for youth (ages 10–21)
Collaborate with interdisciplinary ACT team and external providers
Educate staff on medication use, side effects, and psychiatric conditions
Participate in team meetings and treatment planning sessions
Maintain clinical documentation in Electronic Health Records (EHR)
Ensure compliance with New York State regulatory standards

Qualifications

Education:
Master’s in Nursing (MSN) with specialization in Psychiatric/Mental Health
Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
Licensed to practice in New York State
DEA License required

Experience:
Minimum 3–5 years' experience in a psychiatric clinical setting
Experience prescribing psychotropic medications to children/adolescents
Proficient in psychopharmacology and DSM-IV-TR diagnoses
Experience working in interdisciplinary teams
Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR)
Valid driver's license and insurability required

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Youth ACT or similar community mental health programs
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Comfort working with high-need youth and families
