Are you a passionate mental health professional looking to make a real difference? Adapt of Illinois, a social services organization, is seeking a motivated individual to join our rehabilitative team in a nursing home setting in the Edgewater neighborhood of Chicago, IL. This is your chance to provide recovery-based services to adults ranging in ages 21-80+ diagnosed with chronic and severe mental illness and be part of a supportive, dynamic environment.

- Impactful Work: Advocate for the needs of an underserved population and help clients achieve their recovery goals through individual and group services.
- Community Focus: Facilitate community placements and take on fulfilling case management duties.
- Professional Growth: Provide 6 hours of clinical services each day including community support services, group services, psychotropic medication training and monitoring services and develop clinical note writing skills to document services provided. You’ll develop your clinical skills in a team-oriented setting collaborating with nurses, social service workers, psychiatrists, and more.
What We're Looking For:
- Education (Mental Health Professional): Bachelor’s degree in a human services-related field, or 2 years’ supervised experience in a mental health setting with a non-related bachelor’s degree.
- Education (Qualified Mental Health Professional): Master’s degree required (must be in human services field with at least 1000 hours of internship experience or 1 year of relevant work experience)
- Skills: Strong computer skills, writing, and time management skills.
- Commitment: Ability to work four 10-hour days per week, including rotating weekends and holidays.
- Passion: A strong desire to help individuals with mental illness recover lost skills and reduce stigma.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Competitive Pay (Mental Health Professional - Bachelor's Degree): Starting hourly pay of $24.00 - $27.78, commensurate with experience.
- Competitive Pay (Qualified Mental Health Professional - Master’s Degree): Starting hourly pay of $28.50 - $34.83, commensurate with experience.
