Make a difference - The Center for Advancing Domestic Peace is looking for a full time (or 2 part time) group facilitator available to work in person at our Chicago and Englewood locations. Daytime and Saturday morning availability required.
Join our friendly and dedicated team of staff working to intervene in and prevent intimate partner violence. We seek male and female counselors as we have male/female group co-facilitation teams.
Duties include co-facilitating partner abuse intervention groups for up to 15 participants, completing necessary documentation and reports, and providing case management.
Wage negotiable based on experience and training, and references are required. Preference given to candidates who have already completed the required 40 hours of domestic violence counseling and 20 hours of partner abuse intervention training. However, training will be provided for eligible candidates.
Illinois CPAIP certification and/or experience working with victims and/or perpetrators of domestic violence is very desirable. A social work or other counseling degree, or other relevant experience is required.
