Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Psychologist or experienced Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various therapeutic modalities and demonstrate a commitment to providing high-quality mental health care. This role involves working with diverse populations, including adults, children, families, and individuals facing various mental health or wellness challenges. The Psychotherapist will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and delivering evidence-based therapies in both individual and group settings. Neuropsychologists/Testers are welcome as well.

Duties

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and diagnostic evaluations to determine clients' mental health needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices.
  • Provide psychotherapy using modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Adlerian Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, Art Therapy, EMDR.
  • Facilitate group therapy sessions and support groups for various issues including grief, addiction, and PTSD care.
  • Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to engage clients in their treatment process.
  • Offer crisis intervention services and manage crisis situations effectively.
  • Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
  • Engage in clinical research as needed to contribute to the advancement of therapeutic practices.
  • Provide direct support and case management services for clients with developmental disabilities or special needs.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree or Doctorate in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field.
  • Valid licensure as a Clinical level Psychotherapist or equivalent certification in IL is required (LCP or LCPC ) required for this position. (NOT LPC or LSW)
  • Pre-licensed Professionals should NOT apply and will NOT be considered.
  • Ideal candidate must have either experience, training, certification or interest in therapies that integrate in mind body soul holistic approaches, creative therapies, somatic therapies, or trauma focused therapies or experiential techniques (e.g. EMDR, EFT, Biodynamic Craniosacral therapy, Dance Therapy, Movement Therapy, Somatic Therapy, Creative Arts Therapy, Sand tray Therapy, Drama therapy, Narrative Therapy)
  • Experience working with children and families is preferred; familiarity with pediatric counseling is a plus.
  • Knowledge of ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding for accurate medical record keeping.
  • Proficiency in telehealth platforms and experience providing remote therapy sessions.
  • Strong understanding of medical terminology and documentation practices is a plus.
  • Experience in inpatient or outpatient settings is desirable; experience in multiple settings is a plus.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse populations is a plus.

Pay: $26.00 - $57.00 per hour
