BCBA Board Certified Behavior Analyst

Job Description

Join the Life Skills Psychological Services team to help individuals with ASD and other developmental issues learn new skills and improve their behavior. Positions are immediately available for compassionate and dedicated BCBAs. We are committed to fostering a positive, supportive, and collaborative workplace environment.

We are looking for BCBAs to work with children, adolescents, and adults in Nassau, Suffolk, and Queens, NY.

These are part-time positions that are available after school hours on weekdays, and/or weekends. We are especially interested in hearing from you if you are a LMHC, LCSW, or psychologist.

Responsibilities

  • Conducting Functional Behavior Assessments and developing client-specific Behavior Intervention Plans
  • Performing skills assessments (e.g., ABLLS-R, VB-MAPP, etc.) and developing skills acquisition treatment plans
  • Developing treatment plans based on ABA principles to address challenging behavior, communication, social skills, independent living skills, feeding issues, etc.
  • Providing supervision and training to behavior technicians
  • Training parents and caregivers in child behavior management techniques
  • Updating treatment plans when necessary
  • Designing data collection systems and analyzing data to evaluate the progress of learners
  • Collaborating with parents, caregivers, teachers, and other service providers to achieve the best outcomes for our learners
  • Making learning fun!

Requirements

  • BCBA and LBA-NY credentials are essential
  • Must have experience working with individuals with autism
  • Knowledge and experience in developing and implementing Behavior Intervention Plans for individuals with challenging behavior
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Must be able to work after school hours on weekdays, and/or on weekends
  • Enthusiasm, energy, and reliability are essential

Fee Schedule and Benefits

  • $90 to $130 per hour
