Job Overview
As a Behavior Technician and an academic tutor for neurodivergent students, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals who need to learn differently. Your primary focus will be to implement behavioral therapy techniques as well as provide private tutoring. You’ll work closely with children and their families, providing compassionate care: Your dedication will help empower individuals to achieve their goals and enhance their quality of life.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with families and caregivers to provide guidance and support, ensuring consistency in behavioral strategies across settings during tutoring.

Requirements

  • Experience working with children, particularly those with autism or other developmental disabilities.
  • Strong understanding of behavioral therapy techniques and principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, enabling effective collaboration with clients, families, and team members.
  • Compassionate approach toward working with individuals with disabilities, demonstrating patience and empathy at all times.
  • Ability to adapt strategies based on individual needs while maintaining a positive attitude.
