Join our dynamic team as a School Psychologist, where you will play a pivotal role in fostering the emotional and psychological well-being of students. You will collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to create a supportive environment that promotes academic success and personal growth. Your expertise in child and family counseling, crisis intervention, and special education will be essential as you work to empower students facing various challenges.
What you’ll do
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and diagnostic evaluations to identify student needs.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers and parents.
- Provide individual and group counseling sessions focusing on behavioral health, conflict management, and crisis management.
- Create safety plans and behavioral management strategies tailored to each student's unique circumstances.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support students with developmental disabilities and autism.
- Engage in early intervention strategies to address academic or emotional difficulties promptly.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation, including medical records and terminology related to patient care.
- Participate in school meetings and contribute insights on psychological testing results to inform educational strategies.
Basic qualifications
- Master’s degree or higher in School Psychology or a related field.
- Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience working with children in an educational setting.
- Familiarity with applied behavior analysis techniques.
- Strong background in social work or case management.
- Proven ability to manage crises effectively while maintaining a calm demeanor.

Pay: $70.00 - $75.00 per hour
